Bob from Puerto Excondido passes

Post by Robert »

Just wanted to let everyone that Bob Farrand, aka laguna bob, or bikini bob
passed peacefully on June 14th, 2007 at 9:00 pm after a battle with cancer.

for more information or to submit words or photos see:

http://www.bobfarrand.org/

I really loved the guy and will really miss him, Puerto wont be the same.

Most kneelos will recongnize him as the man laughing at the intro to Simon's first DVD.

RIP Bob

So sad.
He was really kind to Creediler and I back in 2000.
What a loss.
By the way,
He had an amazing collection of SPOONS.. if anyone knows his family, those boards should be collected and put in the surf museums around the world as the "Bob Farrand Collection".
His passion and spirit will live forever in the Kneelo Community.

a genuinely nice guy, unpretentious & a fishing fool.... spent many an enjoyable evening over dinner at the Arco Iris.... a true credit to our surfing world....

I was just asked about Laguna Bob by Texas surfer and old friend Bo Hollingsworth. He was known by many here in Texas. RIP bro.
