Suzie

I only knew Bob from the KSUSA site, and some PM messages we occasionally exchanged. I learned, that Bob, like me was transplanted San Diego boy and a gentleman.

My deepest sympathy to all the friends and family

Seems only yesterday we were congratulating Bob on his 60th birthday. To learn now that he has passed is truly shocking. Although I only knew Bintang Bob from his postings on this site it was plain that he was one of nature's true gentlemen. From myself and family our deepest sympathies to Bob's family and friends who must bear so heavily the sorrow of his loss. His passing will be deeply felt by many.

All mankind is of one author and is one volume.

Oh my Suzie, I'm so sorry, I sort of knew Bob from his days working for Fed Ex. He wanted to surf Hospitals alot and I think we scared him alittle. My condolences go out to yours and his families. (I thought he had the coolest job being able to surf on his lunch breaks all the time). Mark R. La Jolla, Ca.

Life's too short!! So sorry Suzie; may God bring a comfort that only He can in this difficult time.

I also only knew Bob from the site but we exchanged a few PMs as well and a phone call in NZ last April. Some of them had to do with AUS and NZ and since he was from SD there were some So.Mission stories as well. I was stoked when, as we were leaving NZ after the Worlds Bob Gove left our group of 5 to take off on his own to Gisborne to stay with Bob and you for a few days before returning home. Also, you two, Smoking Rock, Mike F and I all share(d) a loose common bond from having spent time on the South Coast in recent years. Time that was happy, funny, and enriching and lives on in our memories 8) Thanks Adam for a great pic!

Suzie,

Our deepest sympathies from the SFK clan.

I too only knew Bob through the site, and he was always a kind and thoughtful soul.

At a time when a true gentleman was lost, prayers will be said and hugs to those with us will be that much tighter.

You have family here, however virtual it may seem. May we see better days together.

For today, we embrace his spirit. A good man was lost.
