Hey guys, mark you calendars for Saturday July 24th in San Diego!
Legendary San Diego orange kneeboarder Bob Gove is turning 60 this year, and there will be a party and roast in his honor! Make your plans to tell your favorite Bob Gove stories - and like all good roasts - embarrass the hell out of him!
Bob's longtime girlfriend Carole Ravago is handling the details and those will come out soon. But for now mark your calendars and plan on being in SD on the afternoon/evening of Saturday July 24th!
If you need a little something to get you motivated Greg-the winner of the best roast story will win a $50 dinner gift certificate. Online submissions will be accepted starting June 15, details to follow. For now, it looks like we will be having it at Cream Coffee Shop-4496 Park Blvd. San Diego from 6pm till whenever on July 24. No host bar (we have to buy the booze from them to get the venue), food details to be announced. Slide show of course. It's a big place, so I hope to see a lot of my friends show up and bring on the roast!

Carole has requested that if you're coming and plan to submit a GOVE story for the contest, have it in to her by the 20th. There's a $50 gift certificate waiting for the best entry.
