Bill, Did you ever run into Chris or any of the z-boys when you lived with
with your parents in Westwood? Some of their skate banks were in
Brentwood, and some Santa Monica schools close by.

Yes ,at Belagio school and Paul Revere jr high and the worlds best surfspot Bay st! I lived in Ocean Park from 1977-1990 .Chris had Underground surf shop there.

I got to surf with Chris at good size Pipeline at the Expressive Surf Contest awhile back. I am really honored to surf some memorable waves with Chris that day. I remember he was a super cool guy and of course, chargin the sets of the day. My condolences to his close friends and family.
