New epoxy quad by Dave Smith @ Katana in Perth, West Oz.
5'10" by 23" by 3" (although the concave takes a lot out of it)
Deep single concave nose to tail with chine rails. Stringerless with carbon rails and carbon deck strips under timber deck.
Deck design is a cloth inlay, a sarong that I bought on my first trip to Indo many moons ago. Love this thing, one of the best boards I've ever had. Sooo fast.

Pics fixed!
Thanks Joe!
Yeah Headwax, had another couple of surfs on it now and it is just amazing. By far the best board I've ever had, paddles beautifully, loves hollowness and even loves slop. Dunno whether you saw the comments on the pics but the design was stolen from you
So a big cheers to you
And no, don't know Bob Birch.

Haha! That's funny, no wonder I am admiring your excellent taste!
No didn't see the comments, but will check em'!
Oh designs aren't stolen. They are just extrapolated and improved on I think.
From memory Duke K, when he came to Oz, had no skeg, but he shaped a concave in the board he made to help it track.
So I guess our boards are extrapolations of his board in a way.
Though slightly lighter
Happy surfing!
Oh Bob moved over here about 1996, but visits Perth occasionally for shows of his paintings. Very keen kneelo about 73 years old,!
