Thanks Alfredo! It's been sitting in a garage two houses down from mine this whole time. It would appear to have like three sessions on it! Was yours a Sea Ski too? Good Luck to you and thanks for your comments.

Goony, that board would have been shaped by Ron Lingenfelter who took over SeaSki from Steve Walden about 1974. I had one, same template, single wing twin keel, one of the best boards I've ever had. You may be able to contact Ron through the Waterman's guild. www.watermansguild.com

Yes I did have a Sea Ski Goony.
As I said, it was my first board, so like my first girlfriend. . . I will never forget it.
I would definately take that board out for a spin 8)

What a classic. That is definitely a Ron Ligenfelter shape. I rode for him and Sea Ski back in the 70's and had several boards of that shape except we went with single fins rather than the twinny. Ron sold a lot of kneeboards back then.

Do you want to sell it? That shape brings back so many great memories and I have wished for years that I had kept at least one of my boards from that era. PM me if you want to sell it.

Goon, Nice find! And in great condition wow!
One my first boards was a Knee Ski 5'0"x 20" round pin, single fin scoop deck circa 70, 72. It was red w/ clear deck. I installed the much needed after market nylon rope handles :) Lots of good sessions on that board.

Damn I thought I was the only one that had "ROPE" handles on my old Lis copy!
