My NEW Sunset

Post by ezak »

Hey all,

Remember those posts about Sunset boards from days long ago?

Well I just got a NEW Sunset kneeboard for Christmas.
A double bump rounded pin quad.
Shaped by Brian Fredrickson. 8)
Even got to go with him to shape it!

Check it out at the Surfy Surfy blog (Jan 1,2012)

Very cool Eric. I still have a Sunset that Brian made for me in the 90s when he still had the shop. Nice little 5'5" twin-fin fish 8)

I had a few Buzz Blodgett fish when he shaped kneeboards for sunset. Akio ripped on them..

Congrats on the new board. I enjoyed the pics, including the "old school" placement of the fins further back. I've been experimenting a bit with that myself and have enjoyed the results in certain wave conditions. I hope you get some smokers on your new stick!
I'm not influenced by the past; I change it!
