Hi Everyone,
Well Mexico has been an amazing adventure. We got waves, perfect conditions and tiny to no crowds. Surfed out after 3 days. Waves ranged from about 2ft to 6ft 200m rides and as long as 500m rides on some points.
Unbelievable heat, water temp i had forgotten water could get so warm!
Anyway, we have chosen to come to Puerto Escondido for the last 3 days of the trip. Scored solid 8ft waves which Wayne tells me thats 15ft faces. It had size anyway.
Tomorrow swell getting smaller, sitting around the pool of Zicatela hotel drinking cervesa with the boys, Mark, Bill and Wayne. Life is good.

I finally got to an internet cafe. I can attest to SimonĀ“s points. We have been getting unbeliveable point surf. On one of our last sessions it was just us sharing a point break. A sucking takoff in front of a rock, make that section, then the wave would start reeeling off down the point with precesion thin lipped glassy sand bottom tubes. Not big but three feet or so. We were laughing our arses off! We even started to count seconds in the tube out loud. Oh my gosh. 8) Hopefully more to come later.

Hi everyone,
well we are well and truly off on this trip.
Mexico could not have gone any better, great weather, amazing waves and a good crew to travel with. Thanks Wayne, Mark & Bill it was a memorable trip.
I'm united with the family now and for the past 3 days we have been doing the Disney/California theme park thing. It has almost killed me. Walked a 1000km I'm sure. My family have basically stepped off the plane and straight into the fast lane of family fun and laughter.
It amazes me how people (parents) can sit on a ride in disneyland with their child/children and be talking on the phone or texting. I saw one mother with her 1 child of about 3 or 4yrs of age spinning round and round inside that mad hatters tea cup ride and she was so focused on txting!
Who am i to judge though
Anyway, A huge thanks to EQ for picking up my family at LAX whilst i sorted out the RV and sacrificing most of the day to us. Thank you 8)
Mark & Patricia for housing me for those 3 days. You are a beautiful caring family.
Next is Universal studios then some LA sites then heading towards SD. If i dont catch up with people I am sorry but we are limited to time at some places.
