Italy goes OFF!
When I was living in Milan, I would take the train down to Varrazze on the Weekends and score waist-high to double overhead offshore barrels.
I was getting so shacked, that I had a guys fighting over who was gonna give me $400 for my Freeline. I have pictures that I'll get scanned at some point.

I rememeber an interview in "Windsurf Italia" magazine (o'zone surfing section) of "Ed Quinn a kneeboarder in Varazze" with a photo published.
Are you?

ciao

P.S.

Yes! That was me.
 I remember giving that interview, but I never saw the issue. The photographer on the beach sent me a few photos.
My scanner died, so I'll have to scan them somewhere else.
I have GREAT memories of surfing Italy.

I just saw a show called Drive Thru on Fuel TV.
Pat O'Connell, Kelly Slater, Benji Weatherly and a cast of others SCORED in Italy. I was very impressed. Can't remember the names of the spots, but what great waves.

It has taken months, but I have learned to scan/crop/adjust dimensions of photos. .... so the pics I have are finally posted in the GENERAL PHOTO GALLERY.

Duke.
I will be the first to sign up for the "ITALIAN KNEEBOARD EXPRESSION SESSION" but maybe we should hold it in Sardina (I saw pictures of insane waves there.)
.... and if you ever contact Guiseppe, please give him my contact info. He was my Varazze Surf Report... he'd call me in Milan when it would get good and I'd drop everything and run to the train station.I'd love to say Hello after all these years. 8)
