Hello All,

Well just returned from trip to Hillsboro/Portland and as predicted didn't get any time at all to check the coast out, only positive is I've worked out how stuff works - including driving a hire car bigger than my house on the wrong side of the road with no gear changes - if any of you were driving behind a blue chevvy escalade driving like a cretin then a thousand apologies!!

Thanks for all the posts - will bring my board and wetsuit next time (my winter one by the sound of it - 5/3mm)
