Bud would be the man to ask.
usually in feb. but anytime you go during the winter you can hook up with some kneeriders. Red expressed interest in going. he said he is finally ready (mentally and equipment wise) to tackle big rubber duckys.
Fooj can show you his new method for smacking the lip.
i will be happy to show you my method for breaking a board during the first 30 mins of your first surf upon arrival.

I hear LOW KEY is the theme this year.

Mike F. , trust me you don't want to learn my technique of lipsmacking. I've used other peoples boards and my own, all within a period of six months. My plastic surgeon loves me, so does my dentist and local ER.

Well, I'm pretty low-key, and I'll be lookin' to surf with whoever's around February 17 - 25. I'll actually be staying in Honolulu and driving up to the North Shore pretty regularly for the surf!

And I love to shoot video!

Anyone else?

Jeff, I still cringe at the thought of your lip smacking episode...
Ouch.... Good thing your weren't out at Outer Puena Point, Maile Point or Goats... There would have been more Tigers around you than at a Sigfried and Roy show..

David,
Alot of things could have made it worse, like not waking up underwater after being knocked out. That wave kicked my ASS. I try not to think too much about it. Hopefully I'll be back up to speed in a month or so.

Bugger, I've been training and psyching for 6 months. Bad bust up with my missus means I probably won't make it 2006.
I'll have to hunt down some big ones locally.
Get one for me, guys.

Red,
sorry about the domestic issues. surfing and marriage can be a difficult juggling act.
don't stay away from the no. shore for too long as you're getting a bit long in the tooth.
when you say you're gonna go get some big ones.......you do mean waves right? :

Howzit Red,
You plan on getting leaner and meaner for '07? Sunset is waiting, and by that time you'll have your boards all dialed in. Good plan, I guess you won't get that nickname afterall.
