i wish i could get out. waves look alright (for long island) dont forget your hood! waves also look ok at gilgo, a local beach here in babylon, ( 2-4 foot)

good luck with the surf

Montauk is really good. I'm staying another couple days. Overhead, water 52f, air 25f, wind 20mph.8)

52 F water in Montauk at the middle of January - I would've thought it would be in the forties - love those ice cream head aches

Another day of surf Jimi. Spoiling myself now, got suited up in the hotel room. :lol:
One more day left. Swellinfo is wrong on the water temp. I just found out it's 43f. My wrist thermometer says it's below 30f, but it's reading the air temp also.
Snow on the beach, photo's to come in a few days. 8)

52 degrees seems kinda warm for the Northeast this time of year...I've surfed colder days during a San Diego winter :shock:
