World wide Kneeboard bank
I've been thinking along these same lines, to try & set up a worldwide kneeboard bank on this site, for traveling souls, who for whatever reason it just isn't feasible to lug a board bag around. [ traveling with the missus to europe with limited chance of waves when you know full well if you don't take your board it will be pumping ] Just to have at your finger tips a list of boards to borrow [ possibly a small deposit to cover damage ] in different country's would be incredible. With the way board design is these days it wouldn't be to much of a hardship to surf something unknown. Most boards go like a shower of shti. Wot you reakon I've got 2 boards i could chip in to get the snow ball rolling.
once you've had black you'll never go back!!!

It is possible to ship boards across the USA at a reasonable price via FED EX ground service.

Great idea of the World Kneeboard Bank / Lending Society.
We got a few lying around here on the North Shore.

it is reasonable to have a board shipped across country by freight... but scheduling can be a nightmare.... plus if you are going and returning it
doubles the cost and you have to crate it if you don't want it damaged...
we all know that with the recent increases in flight baggage it is very expensive to take a board anywhere... and the damages are becoming more frequent.
I like the board loan idea... anyone coming to the NE coast of Florida could
use one of mine anytime. I think the deposit idea is a good one too. i would be up with helping out a fellow kneelo...
