Huntington Beach Kneelo

Post by scoop »

On my last day in the states I did a late morning trip down to Huntington Beach on Sunday 12th. We hired a couple of bikes and peddled up and down the pathway and walked out onto the pier. Although not a big swell there was most likely a typical weekend crowd trying their luck and on closer inspection I noticed an older guy flipping around on a kneelo (without much luck) on the northern side of the pier. He had grey receeding hair and pushed his board out in front when flippering for a wave. Who was this person???? I was too far away to call out.
cheers
Tony

Hey Tony,
that sounds like me but I'm pretty sure I was somewhere where there aren't any waves...

Cheers Wolruss
