i used to live within walking distance (Kress st) to all those places. the lemon chicken at Garden Island BBQ is awesome. took Fooj there a few years back.

there is also a Korean BBQ in Wailua on the makai side of the road which is the snizzle.

BTW maybe going for a couple of weeks in june. let Kel hang with her Mom's ohana while i surf. if you can get some time we can hit those spots again if it was anything like last season there will be waves.
