Bali June, July no board ! any ideas?

Post by Matt »

Hi all I am headed for Bali in June, July.

I am in India now and have no board!

anyone know a place to rent or buy a kneeboard in Bali?

any recommendations on places to stay - cheap! no 5 star for us.

thanks

Matt, try looking up World Wide Board Bank, under Travels in the forum section - I'm sure there was an offer from Bali for use of a board, but treat 'em well as we're a protective bunch and word gets around fairly quick here on the KSUSA site. I'm sure all that was unneccessary so I know you won't take offence.

Cheers Wolruss

Matt, there are places to stay in Bingin, just north of Uluwatu, on the cliff that are super cheap, even free if you buy food from them I hear. If you show up and ask around you can find something for sure.

From there you can surf Bingin, straight out front, Impossibles, a 5 minute walk to the south, or Dreamland, a 10 minute walk north. Uluwatu is a 15 minute motorbike ride to the south.

If you can afford it, stay at Lynnie's Pondok Indah. She rules and the place is awesome. I think it is around 25us a night.

I hope this helps, I'm jealous. I can't go this year...baby coming.

Cheers.
