Park seats @ Petco Park

Post by alfredo zavala »

Hey to all you bros in San Diego,
I'm coming down to O'side for a week for the July 4th holiday.
Yeah,hopefully some warm water too.
I'm thinking of taking in a Padre game in that park within a park section. Has anyone sat there, and is it worth it?
Just want a cheap night out and let the kiddos run mad if they need to.
Thanks for the feedback
Fredo

Fredo, The park within the park section, the tickets have to be purchased two weeks in advanced at the Petco ticket office, with a limit of 6 passes per transaction. I've gone there in the past years ago and I don't remember any restrictions. I guess this year there is. Those passes are $5 each. The bleachers are $10.

the $5 Park tickets also give you access to the bar in the Western Metals Building - which faces and is part of the field. 8)

Not that you'll be taking the kids there. Just sayin' :P

The park in the park is awesome. Great experience - especially for the kids. If you get shut out on the park in park tickets you can still go over there for a visit during the game (in spite of what they might tell you at the ticket booth).

I suppose if it's absolutely impossible to be able to watch a SF Giants game, one could settle for the far less desirable choice and endure a Padres contest.

Make the best of it, Fredo!
