So I've got four days to do as I please. My only restrictions are I must be able to drive there...where should I go? I can and and am happy to sleep in my car, this is stoked and broke with a vehicle.

Go north and visit Jerry in Oregon.

Go north and visit Jerry in Oregon...About 1200 mi rt!!!
Santa cruz is the best bet.Decent surf from north santa cruz co on down. Plenty of reefs along rt1.Decent spots to pull off and camp.
This area over here has been decent, except for the weekend crowds. The reefs north of here have not been very good. Some of these spots are tough going, and the camping can be dodgey.Mendocino co. has some good waves.Once again tough nut to figure out.
Santa cruz area...Good surf...good cheap grinds.easy camping.
cheers

That was a great weekend. Lots of surf, sun and relaxation. Surfed Davenport, 4 mile, and 3 of the spots at Pleasure Point. Found a camp site accessible only by 4x4.
Sat night was fantastic, I ended my session with the sun setting, catching an outside wave at Sewers to First Peak and then 5 minutes later one from First Peak to the beach...then a 1/2 lb burger and shake at Betty's as a reward for all my hard work...life is good.
Mike, sorry I missed your post I wasn't back on the computer, well, until now. Next time.
