California Bound

Hey there fellows kneelo's, we are planning a trip in September over to California, take the kids to Disneyland etc, whats the surf like that time of the year? Where is best to go ? Should I bring a board?

Always waves in Huntington. We have quads, and tri's over here if your packing too much stuff with the family. I could lend you something like my Drift, or you could try a quad. Bring a 3/2mm wetsuit, and flippers if you use em.

the cove guys are great
wetsuits are cheep up here compaired to home as well as legropes boardcovers are at least the frog house tc and the crew at newport will lookafter you
aussie dollar does well here just got to keep the kids & wife away from costa mesa south coast plaza or the outlet stores
its only a 20mile drive from the cove at huntington pier to anaheim

September is a very good time to surf in So. Cal.

Guys thanks for all the info, will definitely look up the Kneelo Cove crew as my t shirt is faded bad. I look forward to some more corro on the subject, sounds like i should be arriving with a back pack only, and do some shopping, no doubt the Waka boys will be placing orders. Stay Keen

Maybe you can get lucky enough to catch a good south and say you surfed Wedge, I'd be happy to show you the ropes

Paul is having a 'howdown' at his place around the same time that you and Mike are arriving here in Oz....so its a manshed/birthday bash party, so bring your dancing pumps with ya's
