good spots around Manhattan Beach LA

Hey im an aussie knee boarder staying in manhattan beach for the week i dont know my way around her i surfed at the pier today but was wondering where the best spots are or if anyone had any recomendations for where i should go within biking distance. any help would be appreciated.

south bay surf

Go north of the pier. Sandbars get better from marine street to the jetty you see to the north. I hope to be at 26th street wed. morning for my sons surf contest. Can you travel or are you stuck in town?

I agree, go north. Others might not like this spot but I always have a good surf at Sh--tPipes and its biking distance north. Be like home, isn't there a giant sh--t pipe South end of Manly.

Yes... ride North to check the jetties... lower tide helps.

DW has been fun... right under where airplanes take off.
