How long are you going to be here/there? I'm in Nusa Dua right now and the accomodations that I have are very nice. Perfect launch site for the wet season. Heck, it's pretty good even in the dry season, which I've done from here for 5 years now. If your rent on a monthly basis, it's 4-5 million Rp per month, depending on the room. Not super low budget, but for that you get wi-fi, hot water, air con, and a kitchenette, pool and 24 hour security. You'd have to commit early though, as my homestay books up fairly quickly.
