Twist my arm...off to the Mentawais

Well after much dreaming, networking earsdropping and googling my planning for an Indonesian land based assault was somewhat "legless". Perhaps too many options and opinions of those options has played a part but my mate and I could not come up with a standout destination, and so we procrastinated and luckily we did. Out of nowhere an opportunity poked it's head around the corner, a boat trip back to the Mentawias! I put it to the boss, afterall she was paying and without any hesitation got the green light. So here I am four short weeks away from setting sail from Padang, after devouring copious amounts of Rendang and perhaps two Binnies!

After the luxury of the boat it will be back to basics down at Balangan before stepping it up somewhat once the wife flies in straight into the boutiques of Seminyak.

Looking forward to getting away from this cold weather and setting sail!
