Aloha all,
I realize that it isn't exactly the best time of year for kneeboarding in Hawaii, but I'll be on Oahu from July 1 to the 21st. My husband and I are going to my nieces graduation party, and will be hanging out for 3 weeks...hoping for a south shore swell! Anyway, looking for someone to go boarding with.
a hui ho!

Sitting in a ...line-up?
S-U-R-F... I-N-G!
First comes... lefts?
Then comes... rights?
Then comes baby through a hol-low section!
Ah, c'mon... someone can do better!
(and JUST KIDDING!)
Have fun!
BTW, spoke to a kneelo bud who just had a great visit down there. Got some waves, and now he's on Molokai.

Last Year at that same time, we had an 8 day 3-6' West swell with great conditions. There was surf on the South shore as well.
We should have a similar episode starting Friday.
There's always the East shore in a pinch.
Dave Sears and I have been putting in 2 hours, every other day, out that way for the last week. Quantity not quality but plenty rippable with good long rides and the water's got to be 80F.
Goat Island hasn't been too "baaaaaaaaad !"
It was pounding 5-4' a couple of the days.
Last nights news showed areial footage of several 12' + tiger sharks feasting on a whale carcass a few miles further down the coast from there, at Kahaluu.
YIKES!!!

(I guess surfing at Croutching Lion is out.)
