General Info:
Directions:
From PCH: Enter Huntington Beach State Park at Magnolia Street.
Head South, after going through gate, driving away from the pier.
Drive through parking lots, past Brookhurst Street, and all the way to the last parking area.
We try to get the last couple of fire pits, closest to the beach, and one in from the end nearest the fence at the canal.
Parking: $15, with no "in and out" privledges
It may be difficult to enter the park past mid-morning, as it's the US Open Finals weekend, and parking fills up quickly.
Parking on the adjacent streets (Brookhurst and Magnolia) and walk across PCH to HB State Park, is an option also.
Other:
Gates open at 6am... so come early and help save the spot.
Bring bikes to ride down to watch the Open.
If you have a pop up or table, feel free to bring them.
Firewood and firestarter is always a bonus.
Of course, food and beverages for yourself/family.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to give me a call at
949-436-0427.
Looking forward to a great day.

The tribe has once again gathered,
a few less than last year and small surf didn't make it any less great.
What a great crew!
Conversations covered the upcoming NSSA kneelo events,
2013 US Titles - date/swag/format/location/youth outreach,
Board design, fin placement, surf travels,
Chick-Fil-A and corn dog photos... (i didn't ask)

Tahiti, thank you for taking the time to shoot all that, it was great to see the crew and put names to the faces. If I didn't recognize someone I could usually figure out who it was from the board, good fun
