really want to attend this years gathering...... although am half committed to doing a charity climb up Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in the middle of Feb!!!!

now for the moral quandry.... raising funds for a good cause or getting shacked out of my head in Hawaii for a couple of weeks!!!!!!!

I've put in for the time off. The boss is freaking out because I've got a week off in November and just took 3 weeks for Tahiti. I told him it's for the Hawaii North Shore Kneeboard championship, so I have to go.
Planning on Feb 15th to Mar 2 or 3. Hope to see you all there!

Hey Buddy , Thanks for the info. First time I have had a chance to check email in months. (the fire changed everything) Those ribs healed about six weeks ago , (Himalayas pounding in March) now I have broken another in my back. Anyway, finally surfed on Vancouver Island. Cold was okay. Been real busy with sweatlodge work. HEading to California in October, Aus ( maybe via Indonesia) in NOvember and back to HAwaii Dec~March again. Soo. I'll be there for the gathering , this is my tenth year, I didn't know there were more than 3 kneeboarders untill 2004. Hope you are well, love to the family.
