Ahh man......... that BW pic has to be from the "pre superbank" days!! Kirra firing!!! Miss it that much. I've not been up there since superbank was made, many sweet memories of the place. Power wise QLD is like a shot gun when it's on and hits you!! Big Bang and it's over. Vicco's like an Elephant gun!!! Boom and hope the elephant does not land on ya...
But the fun factor of Qld is sooooooo good.

for some reason I chalk the southern Gold Coast area and Tweed area as Northern NSW

works very differently to the area between Caloundra and Noosa
as I said
need to get out to those islands and fine out what's there

while I was in QLD I did look at the Snapper camera a few times and saw the crowds !!!!

"Worse than the Gong or Di!!!" Hmmmmm...... Makes me happy to be down here in Vicco. Yet to see a flat spell longer then 3 days maybe once or twice a summer. Almost always a place to get a wave with your self and a few buddies. Only real prob are those in between days shutting down the beaches and not big enough for the reefs....... But then there's always Kitty's .

Hey all, Change of date (if alright with the many ) move the meet forwards a week to the 11th Oct. That's the weekend following this one.
Stan, the little bird was wrong..... my day for getting waves out of you will have to be the 11th cause it's the day after my BDay and I'm only 19 really (give or take a few years or so...... or more ).

Tide will be around 7.30am high........ what do you recon guys????

Mr Foxman can you change the day to the Sunday 12 October for those of us who have family tihngs Saturday. eg Weddings and kids stuff.
