Did we nail down a date? I was thinking the 14th and the 15th work better for me but the 30th and the 1st will work too - let me know. Everyone who is going needs to visulize perfect barrels. Let s make it a good one and pray for no wind (except light offshore).
great idea scott to bring this thread back to life this year....
I probably wont be able to do it in May but... never can tell
As for the cup maybe it would be a good idea to hold the challenge up at sand dollar beach in sept????? Doesnt really matter cuz it is really all about getting together and sharing smiles If I dont make it I hope you all have fun.
Also if anyone is interested in going early or staying late... I may be able to shoot up for a sunday night---wednesday
I may have already cashed in my favors at work so getting the weekend off is just a little bit iffy at this time
scotts, have fun enjoying the sun, surf and beautiful surroundings, my daughter has CIF finals at Belmont Plaza on the 13th, so the groms and I wont be able to attend that weekend. But we are going to try and get up there before summer.

I'm going to try to make it this time ... hope the animals stay healthy till then!
I have to get some work done on the tent trailer and around the house before I can go. If all goes well, I'll drive up with the dogs on Thursday the 12th, and stay thru Sunday.
Scott and Tom B I will be heading south for Jalama on the 10th looking forward to sharing some waves with a bunch of fellow kneelos remember to visulize perfect waves with light off shore winds and blue sunny skys
There's a launch scheduled for Wednesday. It's a NOAA satilite, so it will be coming off the South Base. That means that Jalama will be evacuated for the launch. This can work in our favor!!! Scott, if you arrive Tuesday, try to get a spot on the south end of the park (ocean view). Talk with your neighboring campers and find out who plans on returning after the launch. You'll have to leave Wednesday day for the launch, but you can still keep your site. After the rocket's gone, try to get back to the park ASAP. If you have vehicle license #s, you can purchase sites for those vehicles. I'm sorry I haven't been able to be more involved in arranging this gathering, but work has been crazy. I'll come down to the park Friday evening. I'll PM Scott my home phone #, so if anyone needs anything, let him know, and I'll bring it out when I come. If the launch gets delayed, I'll let ya all know.
