Scott -

since you're a regular there and on the topic of camp amenities, I hear that poison oak is a problem in the campsite. Is that still true?

And do you happen to know if there are any AC hookups?

thanks man - cya soon!

Here is Surfline.com's NorCal forecast for next week. Looks fantastic!

Further out, a major, long period SW swell (195-205) is now being set up and looks strongest for later Friday and Saturday the 16th–17th (although deepwater water focal points could start to see some energy as early as the afternoon/evening of Thursday the 15th) before slowly winding down by Sunday the 18th . This is from storm activity now brewing south of Tahiti with 50-65 knots+ of wind and will spawn a swell for Friday and into Saturday when we can expect all breaks with any sort of southerly exposure to see easy head high waves, good spots are 2-3’ overhead and standouts see larger sets.

Scott MacDonald wrote:The tip is not to venture into the thick undergrowth surrounding the

Thanks Scott. I'd heard horror stories of guys hanging their wetsuits to dry on poison oak bushes and getting nasty all over rashes ... :::shudder::: I also have to be careful the dogs don't romp in the stuff and transfer to me. I'm awfully allergic to the crud. Happy to say frequent dips in the ocean do help to prevent the oils from spreading, or so it seems. :D
