Hi guys

I hope your club is as successful as "Walanyi" a kneelo club with I think about 60 members at its peak. it was a hotbed of kneelo talent eg: Blar Micklejohn, Grant Cromb, Barrie Mowaday, Mike Mouritz and heaps more, some are still in WA so you should look them up. Grant and Blair are still there.

Cheers Budgie, thanks for all your efforts, I've had a few of your crew get in contact which is great, were upto 22 as of last night. Not the 60 you had in days past but at least were in double figures and above where I thought we'd be.

Thanks to Griz, Squid are on board to provide wholesale prices on grips, leggies etc.

I;ve sent an e mail to everyone on the contact list, but just a reminder that meeting No. 2 of the Indiana Keenriders Association is ON Thursday 6th August, 7PM at the Norfolk pub in Freo.

Having waveski-ed for many years now in Perth, I’ve come to the realization that our crappy surf here is really not suited to waveskiing, so I’m keen to give kneeboarding a try. Are there any kneeboarders in Perth….anyone who might have a secondhand board to sell ?

Had a mates son report seeing a lone kneelo at Bears the other day QUOTE " pull into 2 of the best barrels he's seen! " thats a big call coming from a local boy. Anyone we know from Indianas?...couldnt have been me as I am out of the water for a while with bad back injury and the worst part of that story is I did it in 2 foot surf at Gallows

Don't feel bad. I slipped and landed on my board at a comp about 18 months ago in one foot surf and required an extensive shoulder recon. At least you were surfing Gallows!!

Get better soon. Headed your way mid Jan for some work. Might try and bring a board depending on what is happening with the maps. Otherwise might see you in the first week of May. Trying to get over with the Lads from the NSW South Coast.

Sweet I'm off work from January 20 for six weeks, will be busy as the house in Cowtown gets handed over at that time then the real work begins, but will be definately liveable by May so perhaps a bevy or two at the new ranch then if you guys are around, will pm you my number if you want to borrow boards in Jan.(unfortunately let go of the drift so that ones out)

Well it seems fitting that nearly a year after starting the first post on the idea of a West Australian Kneelo club that we have finally got a viable club happening with paid up members....ALL 20 OF US!!!

I'm really stoked at the committment of the local kneelo crew in and around Perth. We had a gathering last week, where we were a dozen strong and I cretainly have never witnessed that kind of show of kneelo strength. Add to that a sweet little swell was running and banks that were barrelling off there nut, too tight a fit for the standups, we all had a ball!

Hoping to build on this base and start to get some communication going with the clubs in the east.

We had a great time down south in early May, with plenty of swell and offshore winds....even caught up with Blair at the Bigrock carpark, Ken Robinson was a great surf guide, and bumped into a couple of other freindly local kneelo's during our adventure Sparrow and Co are still up north I think!

Hey I'd love to join your club, being an old stand up rider who is now struggling to get get back on my feet I thought Id get myself a kneeboard and get into some barrels but can't for the life of me find a board in PERTH.
I spoke to Parkes in Byron who put me onto this Forum.
Does any one have one for sale that would suit a 6'1" 99kg bloke.

Would try anything.
