June 1st - Gathering number 5 - Cornwall, England.

Post by crox »

We have just had our fifth gathering for the British Kneelo Club today [1st of June]. A great time - good company with relaxed & easy going people.
The surf was a fun 3 feet - check out the photos on the News page at www.kneeboardsurfing.co.uk - more to come soon. 8)

I have been surprised how many of you guys both from the USA & Aussie
have passed through Devon & Cornwall.
We have had an amazing winter of surf & been really fortunate with all five of our gatherings - we could have held a tube contest at each!
There are some new photos to view on the news page at www.kneeboardsurfing.co.uk [go to more photos] and also on the British Kneelo Club site [link on the above page]

Thanks for your comments Jack - the guy on the black board is Karl Ward - he spends a lot of time in the air & usually makes it.
We are quite small in number at the moment but growing fast - everyone is keen to improve their level of surfing & we plan to do some video based coaching sessions - we've got to give you guys & the aussies a good run for your money at the next world champs after all!

A few keen people can do wonders in getting the ball rolling but it's always important for others to give solid back-up to keep the ball rolling.

It sounds to me like the same guys are always doing the work in aussie
[well done to them] BUT THEY NEED SOME HELP!!!!!
