Anybody up for a small gathering Friday afternoon Saturday Morning at DMJ? I was there two weekends ago on the last south and it was on fire....

Go alone or with one other person. Be polite. Tell them you are surfing and they pull you over and you sign in with registration and DL. It helps if you have a sponsor or know someone in the military. My stepdad is a retired navy Doctor.

Use the main gate if you need to sign in. The Harbor gate is only open 6am to 6pm and not useful for most pre-dawn or late evening sessions.

The Harbor gate only has a guard and no check in station, it may be worth trying it first as all they would do is let you in or send you to the main gate.

Tell them you were invited to a beach party and make up a name of the person inviting you.

Zeke is working on Saturday, and I was planning on surfing at Tamarack.

I am concerned that the combo swell may not work at DMJ,s. It does interest me as we have base stickers on two of our cars.

O.K. Guys
I just want to let you know that you CAN NOT!!! enter at the Del Mar/harbor gate. Please don't waste your time. The main gate is the only way to get in, if you don't have a sticker. And Matt is spot on. Be nice and cordial. Those boys that are at the gate that early, have been there all night. Have you licsense and insurance in hand for them. I might see you there
