i say we have a gathering at taco bell reef...lets try and schedule it around a swell.....you got a new suit yet kava???

FREEEZing this morning
- 32 degrees down here ( on the way to the beach )
and i got to put on a nice wet frosty wetsuit
the water felt warmer once i jumped ...for about half hour
How about up there ?

today was real nice at the pier... lots of waves , no crowds , and water that was 56-58 ....real nice in my 4/3 until the sun went down...

the wind was so strong today..SIDESHORE..the pier had waves with lots of roostertails....chest- head high+.....square barrels on northside on the inside and longish rides on ss.......had heaps of fun....even though i dinged my tail real good while skating there.....got sandpaper from hss and duct tape from rockin fig.......then traded off out in the water with my stand-up friend who rides a lis-style twin 6'2....fun comparing the ride with my 6'2 ..his is heaps faster than mine and way funner to ride....made by his sponsor Trifecta...i know my posts go in many directions......sorry

YEAH, I was driving by RJ's this morning wishing i could go out. the lot was starting to pack up abut 8am. I saw some nice swell coming in.

So Mark? when will the gathering be this year in OC?

Dang, I thought you were really talking about fish tacos. yum

Cooked up fish and chips last night with my secret Anchor Steam beer batter. My son was working at Freeline and almost brought the whole crew over.

Dark beer Fritter battered fish Whoooooo.....Sweet sour sauce!wasabi with soy sauce.Smoking nostrels!Or just abit of sea salt with a spray of vinegar,eastern style. Had smoked ono tacos a while ago....Died and gone to heaven :lol:

SANTA CRUZ....? Don't want a board built on monday.Wednesdays are more better,in the groove the juices are flowing.Thursday is heading downhill,we've had this conversation before :lol:

grilled ono, chopped cabbage, mayo and salsa mix, cheese, onions, on a thick warm corn tortilla..................ooooooooohhhhhhhhhh yeah

just count your fingers before you start eating :wink:

few of these and even a poor day of surf gets better!!
