I've had a fear of Bolsa since I was a kid, ask Tom and Paul  The waves are not to be believed!
You won't catch me out there taking watershots either, talk about shark bait!
Stuff gets you there, and things happen
The beach is pretty scary too, all those cliffs, and hidden zones

LOL Bolsa is a softer verson of "Old Mans" hehheh! but then again when they open the new breather jetty's and the tide starts going in and out of the wetlands. The likely hood will go up that you may have another friend to chase you outta the merky water at the inlet
I surf bolsa every sat at tower 17. I teach a surf class to about 10 ladies. (heh heh a kneelo teaching standup surfing lol  ). Although I used to be a park aide at bolsa and we would have some dead whales and seals wash up on shore. 1 year even had 2 green sea turtles wash up (they smell worse than whales or seals). With all the Dolphins we see in HB and Bolsa I hardly ever see em wash up to shore :?: lots of rays though in the water below knee high. Have 5-10 pokes a day by rays. thats allot of urine to be flowin on your buddys foot heh hh
