HB/Newport Gathering

Post by MWROBERTSON »

Hey everyone,

It's that time of the year for the annual HB/Newport Gathering! The wheels are starting to turn and the planning has begun. So far we know it will most likely be on a Saturday in SEPTEMBER- The 9th-23rd-or the 30th. SWELL AND EXACT LOCATION PERMITTING! We will post as we know more regarding, swell, tide, attendance possibilities etc. (Keep in mind, the biggest swell is not necessarily the best swell for HB/Newport. A crossed up peaky swell is best.)

We thank you in advance for your contributions of food, giveaways, shade tents etc. Bring the wife and kids. Make it a whole day.

Drop me a line if you are able to help and attend. 8)

I'll be in UTAH on the 9th, so I sure hope it's not that weekend! This has been a great event every year (even when the surf hasn't cooperated!), so I'd strongly encourage all you kneelos to go and help out too. The Robertson clan and local dudes do a good show!

yep, Ill be in colorado on the 9th but am open to the other days. count on me to get donated products from Aleeda, the Froghouse, PacSun, and possibly Billabong too for the raffle. we had some decent swell last year so this year hopefully will be just as good if not better. thanks for heading it up again

 Bummer, I can't make the 9th or the 16th. Any other weekend is good. How about this sat, the 26th, head high south due(southern hemi and possible tropical). Think about it.

Beeline,

We'll play mumbly peg over the Blast-whoever loses the less fingers wins-we'll use my special issue Kbar knife given to me by my SEAL buddy who is now doing secruity work in Saudi Arabia.
