surfed the newport side of RJs - 56st today from 8-11 in mostly offshore conditions.

\..there were occasional 5-7' sets fun workable walls, i got a couple little barrels and one big closeout another surfer said looked like waimea shorebreak.. i believe it, from the inside it looked like a Wedge barrel...needless to say i got worked!...

saw another kneelo out ripping but lost site of him...the current was kinda bad,,...

....ill probably surf blacks tommorrow or 56st early..any SD reefs break on SW?

My brother and I surfed Scripps from 6 to 8:30 - sort of fun, head-high and clean. Blacks looked pretty mixed up. The crowd filled in at Scripps quickly - lots of ya-hoos which reminds me why I surf elsewhere mostly.

I commented to my brother about how many guys were out - his quote: "I only see two guys out here." Classic.

Jeffy-O, Zeke, Rick C. and I hit the south side of the jetty. Bumpy early w/ a mild offshores good head high sets.

Rick found some treasure and we all scored sets wave 8)

Could be fun Sunday, smaller but cleaner.

It's going from head high to overhead Sun/Mon/Tuesday here on the east side. I am going to surf the long sweeping left at the cove at the end of Cape May, NJ. It should be almost offshore with the NE winds we are expecting. Will be my first time surfing the cove. I can't wait :D

Mutiny - sounds like that south swell is feeding into you guys? It's only showing on a few buoys...

The beach breaks in Rosarito/BM were too ragged and mixed up this morning. We ended up surfing a left reef and it was pretty good. About HH, little bigger on the sets. Got some fun waves. Beautiful day down there! :D

Anybody surf Blacks this morning? need a report!

Brad - if you got a very long message of 'nothing' on your cell, that was from me. Sorry about that!

Yea Tom,

Jim Richardson and I scored 3-6ft faces just north of Brookhurst St. in the State Park. Sunny skies, mild crowd, offshore winds, and barelling bending lefts with tubing rights running down the beach. We surfed for 3 hours and it seemed to get better as the tide moved up a bit. One of the better days of the year for us. Stoked! 8)

Anybody want Reef Road firing double overhead and glassy?
The Hatteras buoy is:
Significant Wave Height (WVHT): 40.7 ft
Swell Height (SwH): 36.7 ft
Swell Period (SwP): 14.3 sec
Wednesday the wind is forcasted to go offshore!!
Looks like we may have our first Tropical Storm of the season.

Sounds like all you gusy scored!!! Went to my favorite OC reef break. Two others out but it was kinda funky with the low tide. Got a couple of real good barrels and took a couple of nasty thrashings. Not an epic session but fun nonetheless.
