Cinco de Mayo Swell II

Post by Jack Beresford »

SoCal,

Looks like some swell - and wind - headed our way this weekend. Tough to tell if it's going to be clean or not.

Any predictions on where it might be good? Perhaps we can get another mini-gathering together. I believe it was this week, last year, that George shot the May Gray footage.

Sloppy but consistent is a good combination for gathering!

You know, there is usually 3 to 4 of us that surf at O-side pier, Southside, 6:30 - 7:00 am on the weekends, a few more KB'ers would be cool -

It's usually TooFast Zeke, C.P. Odom, Myself and/or a few others -

The weather should be nice, and Sunday has a "Fair +" to "Good" conditions rating on Surfline..................

DMJs 8pm, 4 May 2007

Post by Chris Buscemi »

The wind never calmed down this afternoon and it was pretty crappy at DMJs as the sun was setting. The forecsts look okay for tomorrow and better for Sunday.

I'm going to spend Saturday with the family and try to get some waves Sunday.

Hope you all get some surf. Hit me up if anyone wants to surf Sunday.

surf

My brother and I are going to rally at 5:30 a.m. We'll see what the wind is doing and then make a decision where to go. If it's clean, we'll probably head up to DMJ/O-side. If it's junky, Scripps or Blacks.

Surf Tomorrow

Post by Chris Buscemi »

Took a drive with my son today and checked numerous spots from DMJs to Ponto. Ponto looked best, solid head high and good shape with a light crowd. DMJs wasn't doing it's thing although it looked better than everywhere but Ponto.

The forecasts are looking good for tomorrow and I'm going to give Ponto a shot early, dawn patrol. If it's not good than I'm going to cruise back to DMJs.
