Did Ler ride the Veg-O-Matic hydroplaning booger??

Hi Beeline, I didn't ride the hydroplan board, I did a ride on couple different boards, inculding a Parkes. I wish I had one. The waves were not going to let any ride the hydroplan model. Dumpy walls. Maybe next time.

I would cosign Mike's post above with the following exception. Instead of still being sick, I was getting sick thinking of going into work instead of going up to Bob's for the post-surf fun!

I would also like to thank Tom for organizing this event. This was my first trip to a gathering and I had a great time even if the waves were not the greatest. Simply meeting the crew and having a few laughs was well worth the trip.

Hey SF Kneelo and to all who attended the Creek Gathering. I WAS THERE!

I had the crazy notion I could dawn patrol it, snag a few good ones, say howdy to all the bretheren and sister and be back in time for the 9:00 am anal gland 'expression session.' Sorry a little veterinary humor .

Anyway, I was amazed it was offhores at the 'Creek', on the way home HB was totally blown out. I hope the waves improved with the incoming tide.

Bob, thanks for trying to hand deliver the deck pads and sorry I couldn't stick around longer; my boss (me) is truly a SOB. Cheers Wayne

Anybody who attended the Salt Creek Gathering will want to check the photos posted on the web. Ed Dimick, Walt Davidson, Mike Robertson, Tom Backer, Ed Quinn, Ler, Bill Lerner and Sprocky all got some very cool photos along with several others. Ed Dimick has a great one with a super thick lip.
