Hi Beeline,
Well, my mother, since she truely loves me, wants me to be healthy and happy. She has learned how happy a good session makes me. Hence, she wants me to surf at least weekly. How's that for rationalization? Also, in honor of Mother's Day, we can give wave priority to all the Mothers that attend our gathering.

Jalama is always FUN regardless of the weather.
I feel up to a Jalama mission it is just that my days off are mon/wed I may be able to sneak a sunday also if I have time to give the old JOB prior notice. looking forward to seeing you Norcal guys soon!!!!!!

I still have the Cup. No ingraving yet, maybe you guys can alter history and claim initial ownership.
I've got a few things going on during that time period but it looks doable for those dates on a penciled in basis.

Hi All,
It sounds like you want to brave my "light breezes" again. Currently, winds have been coming on by mid morning and waves 4 to 6 feet (early bird gets the barrells). Hillsides are in full bloom now and the water temp just dropped down to the mid fifties.
May 14th thur the 16th sounds ok to me. However, after the last year's campout, I thought we weren't going to do the "North vs South - Conception Cup Challenge" until late summer - early fall. I'll do my part for what ever you all decide. I'd suggest that we do a low key gathering in May and then do the Conception Cup Challenge in September. Just tossing some ideas out.
