I knew the waves were going to be small and the tide rising a bit. So I drove direct to one of my favorite sandbars in State Park. Parked the car, ran across the sand. No one was out and it loooked fun, glassy and hollow.
I threw on the suit and ran out and scored 25 minutes of little gems to myself. As the sun beamed a blinding light I thought, "God, just a perfect little morning. The lefts were so picturesque.
Soon I looked up to the shore and saw, Casey & Shew, paddle out. Then Razor & Ler. Then it was Devo. Soon after my brother Danny showed up with Tom Linn and his son Chris.
Everyone one was laughing, hitting the lip and sharing little tubes. Nothing epic but fun as hell.
It's funny how some of the little days can be so fun. I feel satisfied with the frienships and tubes shared today.
