Sunshine Coast surf...

Post by farnzilla »

Hi all.

I've got a couple of day's off next week, (sorry guys, I guess this relates to Queensland kneelos mostly).

I'll be going for a surf with a few of my work co-horts (all footboarders unfortunately) on either Monday or Tuesday ( 1st or 2nd of March) on the Sunny Coast.

The weather map shows a low off the Northern NSW coast on Sunday, so perhaps there may even be a bit of a swell, indicating Noosa.????

Let me know - I surf like a dog, but i'm keen and friendly...

Hi Farnzilla - coming from Cornwall I'm unlikely to make Noosa [although I love the place] but going by your last two posts - this one & [apres-surf munchies] you have just the sort of character that would be most welcome at one of our gatherings!

Hi Farnzilla
I've been known to call attend the odd 'site meeting' when conditions are right during the work week & close the office...
keep in touch here perhaps.

That's an interesting site Jonny - Thanks. I usually hook up to coastalwatch.com, which has a few good cameras.

Andy, I'm planning on taking the drive on Monday or Tuesday anyway, so I'll drop you a line over the weekend.

And despite my ex-wife being a native of Cornwall, I'd still love to visit the place for a surf one day Crox. I had no idea of the great surf over there before checking out the UK KBing sites.

Cheers.

I'll be hooking up with a few mates in the carpark at Moffat's Beach(Caloundra) at 7.30am on Tuesday 2nd March.

Just a couple of standups and another kneelo, a Caloundra local, that I met in the water a couple of weeks ago.

A fresh swell courtesy of TC Ivy is promised, but the forcast is predicting pretty strong winds.

Andy; we decided to give Noosa a swerve, given the Festival of Surfing is starting - although if the surf sux I might come up for a drive anyway.

If anyone else is in the area and keen for a surf, I'll be the big boofy bloke with the white/blue Parkes.

Hi Mark,
I sent a pm if you want to get in touch...
the outer bays can be ok during the comp but after such a long flat spell
it'll probably be an absolute circus.
cheers
Andy
