Here are the details for our winter trip to the West Coast of Victoria on the weekend of 7th and 8th of August. Mark Jeffrey and Neil Owen have everything in hand and are looking forward to a fun weekend of surfing.

No comp, No pressure, just a trip away. Accordingly all kneelos are welcome whether your a member of the club or not so feel free to rock up and join in the fun.

We will be meeting at Bells Beach car park at 7:30 am Saturday morning. We are hoping to surf around Torquay area before heading down to Lorne for Saturday night. Mark Jeffery has some accommodation booked and has 4 spare beds, so if you are looking for somewhere to stay give him a call.

Here are their contact numbers if you need them.
Mark Jeffery 0412 223 037
Neil Owen 0407017759

Drop one of us a line or send me a PM if your planning on attending so we have you on the contact list.

During the trip the raffle for the STRAPPER board will be drawn. So please if you have any outstanding tickets it would be appreciated if you could get them back to Mark prior to the trip. Some one will be very happy with the prize, it looks like a very nice board.
Thanks again to Mick DiSciassio and Strapper Surf for their support of Kneeboard Surfing Victoria

Watch out for rabies in Bali, it's in the news, more than 70 people have died in less than two years. Google: Bali rabies.

if the brownie points are up i will drive over to bells (Saturday morn is traditional dad pancake morning)

however

given the tide times Im thinkin 13th beach might offer more options early, then Bells region lunch time, then further west as the tide returns in.

just a local thought

both days look good though smaller further west unless you go around to Joanna and then possibly classic if its not too big.

anyway nice to know theres kneelo action on this side even if i cant drag myself away from 13th beach

Great conditions this morning. Light offshore with sets 6-8 foot faces not epic but we got some fun ones. Grom got fair cleaned up by a set, all part of the learning curve!

One unidentified kneelo out when we got there. Anyone want to put their hand up?

Dinner at the Lorne Pub 7-7:30pm for anyone about.

Looks like more of the same tomorrow just a little bit smaller.

I'llpost some photos if I can figure out how to do it from my phone.
