Arrive at Phillip Island a day early for the Worlds.

Albert, Pommie, Gary me and a couple of lads are putting on the real contest of the week.

It's a retro, who can have the most fun format to be surfed and judged en masse (al la Coopers Cup style).

Prizes go to the most deserving. That's all I'll say for now.

Oh yes, there will be a few cool sherberts and other beverages available to assist with the telling of tall stories that befit the event.

On Sat 26th March its a really low tide at 11.20am coming up to a big high at 6pm of so.
It's looking as though a lunch start will be the ticket. You can get your free surf in early(is) - sunrise at 7.30, so you can be in the water by 7am.
Then a refuel, restyle that mullet http://www.ratemymullet.com/, slip on a budgie smuggler http://budgysmuggler.com.au/about/, grab a refreshment and some wax and head off to the event.

The long term weather forecast is 4' and offshore.

Bert ride that toilet seat cover. Also, I have NEVER ridden a single fin. "Bueller, Bueller, Bueller!"

Sorry Mike, nothing retro about the toilet seat...

but, I have a spare retro single fin I can loan out (pads and fin set), but I dont have the space in my car to bring it. If you can arrange transport for the board to/from the island you can have your first single fin session ever!

Greatly appreciated Al, but I will have enough stuff of my own to haul around, and the car will be full. Look forward watching though.

Mike, I have an idea there may be a few boards there on the day for people to have a go on. With any luck you should be able to get a go on a single fin.
