Well people I know we will have a few kneeboarders in town on saturday,so I am putting it out there for any that might feel up to it.
We will have a decent sse swell so pretty much all of Newport should be firing, some spots really doing there thing.
I am planning on a dawn patrol at Wedge before I go to RJ's
anyone that wants to join me ,I will be there before the sun.
Come on down,if you dare
Mike this should be a really good day, maybe even some good waves at Cylinders.

Stoked to see everyone who is coming!
We've got good waves. The sun will be out. Wind will be mellow.
Sounds like there will be some yummie munchies!
Lots of good friends and family.
Joe and I can't wait to see everyone.

Wow! What a great gathering! The waves were fun, the sun came out early, the wind stayed relatively low, the food was flowing all day!
Many thanks to the kneelos (and a few wives) who came to enjoy the festivities. Some drove quite a distance to be here.
Also, it was fun surprising Tommy Backer with a new wetsuit and deckpad on his flasshie. I think he's stoked! :D
Don, thanks for coming down and sparking Joe and I with the idea of this day. We always appreciate the company you and Bonnie (and Lana) provide. We will be back up to your place soon.

This event was successful for many reasons, those who came to surf, those who came just to say hello, those who came and stayed all day.
A special thanks to Tom "Fishfinger" Fish for all the stuff you brought and the help you provided, especially the company in line at the gate.

There was even a Big Tony sighting, with his wife Barb, mid-afternon.

We will be having another gathering soon... this was too much fun!
Picts will be posted soon.
