Looks like things are on track to have a fun gathering of many kneelos and families.
The weather appears to be on track for a good day; let's hope for some waves. Joe says bring your handplanes... let's play!
It happens to be our daughter's 17th b-day and she will be there with some of her friends as well.
Kids of any age are welcome, and encouraged to come.

Don't forget to bring something to throw on the grill, or a stick over the fire (caveman style).

Sounds like some people will be bringing pot-luck type stuff. Any and all contributions will be much appreciated.

Joe, myself, and a few others will hold down the fort the entire day, so if you want to come and go, you are more than welcome to do so.

Brookhurst Street gate was open today at 6am.

Come early, come late, surf or not, it's all about the family, friends, fun and celebration of the beach life.

OKguys and girls,it looks like we have a very good chance of getting a fading SW,a building SW,and a building SSE around 165-175 for Saturday.
Not sure who is planning to come, but this combination opens up some great possibilities for a dawn patrol before going to RJs. Although it should be Damn good there too as long as the wind plays nice
Wedge should be really a-framing and Cylinders should be good too.
If anyone wants to make a short session there first let me know, but it has to be a short one,Amanda and Joe put too much work into the RJs gig.
Max
P.S. Joe,Ipurposely left out another spot that should be off it's nut

I can vouch for the surf report water temp. It's cold! 58F. The west winds have been killing the nice water temps. A cheapy 3/2 should work if the sun is out, otherwise bring a good 3/2.

The grom and I will be there, can't wait. The water is cold in O'Side as well, maybe 60F.
Never leave well enough alone.

Max,
I got the "point". Yeah, my old backyard should be unreal.
I've been looking at this same mix of swell.
Should be fun lots of places, especially RJ's.
