2012 Gathering on Saturday, August 4

Well, it sounds as if this will be the date for the 2012 mid-summer gathering.
After talking with a few other kneelos, RJ's sounds to be the place. We don't have to worry about blackball.
As far as holding the gathering near the HB pier... it's the final weekend of the US Open...
I've heard from a few of you that you will be coming... it'll be a bring whatever you want to eat, drink, snack, etc.
We can use small grills, firewood and popups.

If you plan on getting a fire pit for later, I can bring some large logs.

I hope to be down to get some waves and see the crew! always a good turn out with the sandbar in our favor .....

Looks like fun I'll try to make it this year can someone tell me how to get there from the the 55 freeway! Looks like ill be be free that day!

Hi All,
The gathering is just a couple of days away. It looks like the weather will cooperate, and keep fingers crossed for waves.
Remember to bring food and drinks for yourself/family, and if possible, firewood.
will be a small bbq for cooking hot dogs, unless you choose the coathanger method...
I hear there might even be a couple of boards for sale.

Wow! Looks like I will be down south this weekend and I would like to show up. When does it start and where do I park? Really looking forward to hangin' with the tribe.
