2013 River Jetties Gathering

It's official. The date for the annual gathering at RJ's has been set.
When: Saturday, August 17th
Where: Fire pits furthest south in Huntington State Beach
Time: 6am-?
The gates open at 6am and there will be several of us there early to get the pits procured.
Food: Bring something to toss on the grill, drinks, chips, etc

Directions: Enter HB State Beach at Magnolia, pay $15 (unless you have a state pass), head south to furthest parking lot.

Bring: pop ups, firewood, grills, small tables, chairs, etc

There should be plenty of parking this year, as the open is over!

Looking forward to seeing as many kneelos and their families as possible.

10th Annual Newport/Huntington Gathering Happens August 17th at River Jetties

Not long after the website got started and boarders started to connect the first group of kneeboarders and a few family members showed up on classic summer day at River Jetties. This event has continued to be a fun event reuniting the largest amount of kneeboarders in one spot since the US Titles, now with more families, food and fun.
So your invited to come out and spend the better part of the day with us. Surf doesn't look to be as big as that first year so you can even bring out those beater/hybrid sticks from the back of the garage and give'm a go.
