I am with the Freezin Ricans. Don't even own a wetsuit. What is the water temp in SC in November?

Water temp should be in the mid to high 50s. Unless we get a really early macker North swell and then the temp could drop into the low 50s.

Plan on water temps in the low 50's. A 4/3 fullsuit and some 3mil booties
should get you by just fine, maybe a hood if you really want to stay toasty!

Scott
Toasty is good. My teeth are chattering just thinking about it!

6'0" and 190#. Wear Lycra for diving and could use 1mil wetsuit but nothing as heavy as a 4mil. Let me know.

Was suprised at the airline deals I found from here to LAX. Actually 3 hours flying time closer to London than Cali from St. Maarten.

LAX to Santa Cruz is approximately 5-6 hours of driving time by inland freeway (boring). The good side if you take the coastal route its longer but you pass some of the best breaks in California on your way to the airport.

A commuter flight from LAX to either San Jose or SF is about $75 each way plus board bag fees; $45 each way on southwest. It is an hour flight. If you fly into LAX I would just drive. If there is surf when you arrive hit ventura point or rincon for a quick session then head up Highway 101. Highway 1 through Big sur is beautiful but it takes a few hours longer

Thanks Guys. Will probably make stop at home on the way and can fly straight to San Jose on SW. When will entry forms and other info be posted? Will contact you about the wetsuit when I make plans Scott. I will buy some booties, can always use them for reef dancing.
