how you going? this site is your vehicle to catch up with local kneelos in you vicinity, the kneelos in your country are having regular gatherings together, and by the sounds of things are having great time, doing just the things you are looking for.

I am positive you will get more information from this post.

Chadsdad where is Lake Forest? I'm here in Santa Cruz Ca. Our next big event is the contest in November but it turns into a festival of half men ripping , sorry Mike couldn't resist,. If the turn out is anything like last year a good time will be had by all. Jon

Chads... I live in oceanside and I get up to salt creek a couple sundays a month. If there`s a swell, i`m there sat and sun. I am one of those dawn patrol guys. Anytime you want to meet, let me know. Always up to surf with another KBer. If you want to come south, thats fine also. If you want to go north thats fine too. I`m always looking for a better stop.
I surf with a couple of other KBers every weekend. Its fun and its not competative. But we do push each other to do better and laugh at each other at the same time.
All the guys and GALs here have been a blast to surf with. I just have to get them in the mind set that a short board is better !!!

Hey Steve -

I grew up in Laguna Bch, not exactly a kneeboarding mecca, but some good waves here and there. Better bet and just as close is Salt Creek - Tom Linn and Zeke (toofast) and others frequent the Creek. Gravels is a great beach break although I always preferred the lefts off the point.

Oceanside isn't too far and there's a regular crew there as well. I'm in San Diego, but sometimes get up to o'side on the weekends.

Check out our gatherings, and try to make it up to Santa Cruz in November. Enter the contest! It's all for fun, even if you're not into competition, you'll learn tons and meet some great characters and see some eye-opening ripping going on. Plus boards boards and more boards. Well worth the time and travel.

good luck!

Chadsdad,

I work in Lake Forest but live in San Diego's North County where I surf with Toofast. Oceanside Harbor as well as Oceanside Blvd, and Tamarack street in Carlsbad will have Kneeboarders out quite often. Trestles is always calling for an after work session if you are interested.

Strands

Post by Jimbo »

Steve - there are several of us that surf Strands (just south of Creek) often as well. I am usually dawn patrol during the week as well - too much kid stuff on weekends.

Chads... The "hemet" thing... they`re having a little fun with a board design I have. Lets just say it`s a little different and they`re alittle AFRAID of the FORCE !!!! I`ll be at creek sat mornning , swell or not. Yes creek does get crowded. I`m in the water before the sun is up and I get about an hr before it gets busy. I`ll deal with it for a little bit longer, then i`m gone. Then i`ll go somewhere else. ... I haven`t surfed Strands in yrs..The Aliso peir is fun also, there are some good spot your area.
