Blueocean,
Firstly Isreal is not a European country. Somehow they get included in the Eurovision but I'm not sure why. Secondly where are these top mainland Euro kneeboarders? We have made a big effort in the UK to send a team to these worlds (all self funded) and there are a couple of Irish guys going too. If you guys can't be bothered to get it together and get over there, don't whinge like the world owes you a living. We would love to have some fellow Europeans competing with us. I would also love to work with some European kneelos to get the European championships up and running again but every appeal I have made to this end seems to fall on deaf ears and you guys don't seem to be bothered about resurrecting this contest. The last I heard from any other Euro Kneelos was a few pictures of some Spanish guys on Bud's Blast site a while back. If you guys are ripping let's see some pictures - the kneeboard world needs all the exposure it can get.

Worlds in Santa Cruz

Post by ropes »

I will catch up with a ye at the worlds and speak again of the european championships. I am eager to get things happening in Ireland and that is the main reason for my trip to Santa Cruz. It is going to give some exposure to the sport in Ireland.
We can talk then can't wait

Ropes,
That would be excellent. We have a lot of support from the British Surfing Association over here and they are really helpful with running contests and have a lot of experience. I think with a few of us working together we could get some form of european event going on.
I forgot to mention Malaga in my previous post he is putting up some good pictures from the Canary Islands. Good one Malaga lets up the exposure for kneeboarding in Europe.
