Hi Guys

Saturday at 7.30 at Long Reef (RH carpark as you enter) is our first comp / gathering of the year...we will assess what beach on the day
(Sydneys northern beaches)

Membership fees will be due and a reminder that Surf Australia membership is highly recomended (needed for pro - ams etc) and give a full insurance cover whilst surfing

New people more than welcome to come ...even if non competitors
Looking forward to a huge turn-up

what a day

turned up to glassy 3/4ft sets with 14 entrants to come down to DK getting the better waves to beat last years champ Grant Xmas 2/1 to get the nod......on ya Dave....it only took you 10 years I believe to win one.....
bet ya it was worth the wait.....hip hooray....hip hooray....hip hooray

Ten years of =5ths and =7ths and I finally crack one.
It helped that Phil, Keg and Mash were all missing but I was stoked anyway.
The main thing is the year is up and running we had a good crew of kneelos, nice little waves and heaps of fun, anything else is a bonus.

Sydney comp is on again at Long Reef Sunday July 18th...
meet in the R H car park at 7.30am
with a bit of luck we might have eam Sydney,,,Mark Ashby 3rd old farts
Matty Nov...world Cadets champ... and Kenny (best whale impersonation) and Jay Stapo to give us all the goss from the Worlds....well done guys

All welcome...well if some sort of monetary values are met....

Attention all Sydneysiders:

June comp at Long Reef has been changed to Saturday 11 June.

Meet at 7.30am at first car park on right.

BBQ at Keg's place at Narrabeen after the comp where some home movies will be shown - movies featuring the short, beer swilling, non wetsuit wearing Nth Narra ripper's recent boat trip to the Mentawais.

New members positively encouraged.
